Textile Exchange is dedicated to the continual evolution of our standards system, ensuring that it remains robust, relevant, and responsive to the needs of our stakeholders. Through incorporating ongoing stakeholder input and practical experience in implementation, we are committed to improving and refining our standards. In this spirit, we are now seeking open feedback on the current version of the Content Claim Standard (CCS) V3.1 as part of a comprehensive CCS revision to align Textile Exchange’s chain of custody standard with its Materials Matter standards system.
The goal of the CCS is to ensure the accuracy of content claims for certified materials as they move through the supply chain. It requires that each organization along the supply chain take sufficient steps to ensure that the integrity and identity of the input material is verified. You can review our current CCS V3.1 here.
The Open Feedback Period begins on July 15, 2024 and closes on September 30, 2024.
Your feedback will help to inform our revision of the CCS. We will research the issues submitted during the Open Feedback Period and they will inform the drafting of the CCS 4.0 before it goes out for consultation to the broader public.
