This is a short survey to help Textile Exchange understand the terminology the textile sector can use when referring to the topic of production volumes and revenue growth targets relative to sustainability targets.

We are currently using the placeholder term “reimagining growth” to describe this topic; however, we recognize there are a variety of ways to talk about this, some more comfortable for industry stakeholders than others. For example, we know that there is complexity in referring to this as “degrowth,” but what is an alternative that works better?

The aim of this survey is to get your feedback and inputs to shape a view on this topic ahead. Our ultimate goal is to use the findings from this survey to inform recommended language for industry alignment.

Note that the focus of the survey is specifically on the terminology surrounding the topic of reimagining growth (not on this occasion the actual topic itself).
